Peter is a marketing-research innovator. His latest foray is as co-founder of Collaborata, the market-research marketplace, which launched in early 2016. Collaborata enables collaboration and co-funding of market-research projects.
As founder and CEO of Teenage Research Unlimited (TRU), Peter contemporized the field of youth insights, inspiring brands to think and act differently in how they connect with young people. Along the way, Peter grew TRU into the global leader in youth research, with a presence in 40 countries. He exited the business in 2013, after TRU’s acquisition by Kantar and WPP.
As Peter “re-enters” marketing research with the launch of Collaborata, he does so with a focus on innovation and on Millennials—this time, as research clients and suppliers. (In fact, Peter’s cofounder is not only a Millennial but also his son, Jimmy Zollo.
